I don’t think the US Open is one of Murray’s best chances to win a slam. Sure he made the final in 2008, but he just isn’t consistent on hard courts. He either does really well on hard courts when his game is 100% on, or he loses early. Outside of his 2 finals on HC in GS, he has never made the QF or better. The only slam I see Murray doing well in from here on in is Wimbledon because he has his most consistent results there and he has the home crowd to back him up.
